Style 2: Two small braids inside two big braids (super simple yet so cute!)

1) Do two Dutch braids like in Style 1.

3) Twist each braid into a bun and secure with a rubber band (and a few pins if needed).

4) Pull a few face-framing pieces out if you like that softer look.

Make it cuter: I loosen the bun slightly by pulling the edges outward, so it looks fuller and not like a tiny knot.

Style 4: Two small Dutch braids (half up, half down) 📗✨

This is one of my favorite “for school” options because it keeps hair out of the face but still looks pretty and soft. It’s also perfect if I want braids but don’t feel like braiding all my hair.

How I do it:

1) Part hair down the middle, but only work with the top half (from hairline to crown).

2) On one side, start a small Dutch braid along the hairline and stop around the crown.

3) Tie it off and repeat on the other side.

4) Combine the two braids in the back with a rubber band, or keep them separate for a more playful look.

Why it’s so wearable: It gives that “I did something” look, but it takes way less time than full braids.

Style 5: Two Dutch braids into two pigtails

This one is cute, sporty, and honestly underrated. Instead of braiding all the way down, I braid until the nape and then switch into pigtails. It’s great if I want the braid detail but also want movement and volume in the ends.

1) Create two Dutch braids from the front to the nape.

2) Secure each braid at the nape with a rubber band.

3) Let the rest of the hair hang as pigtails.
